William Raymond "Bill" Knowlton is the founder and managing partner of W.R. Knowlton.
Bill devotes the majority of his law practice to federal and state regulatory compliance, corporate governance, planning and zoning, government relations, employment law, commercial real estate, intellectual property, class action litigation, personal injury, and all aspects of dispute resolution – from initial demand to jury/bench disposition. Bill is an active member, in good standing, of both the Utah State Bar and Arizona State Bar, and is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Courts and Federal Courts of Utah and Arizona, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has published multiple law journal articles in the Arizona Bar's law journal and the Utah Bar's law journal. Also, for the 2016-18 term, Mr. Knowlton was the Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee of the Electronic Retailing Association in Washington, D.C. In 2014, 2018 and 2019, selected in the Mountain States Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list in the Corporate Law category. In 2018, Bill was awarded the the prestigious "40 Under 40" award by Utah Business Magazine. Bill graduated from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2008 with a juris doctrate, and the W.P. Carey School of Business with a Masters in Real Estate Development. Bill graduated with honors from the University of Utah in 2002 with dual degrees in English and Economics. |
